-----We are living in a time of great cultural transition. The scholars of culture, mythology, and psychoanalysis like Mircea Iliade, Joseph Campbell, and Carl Jung inform my understanding that a fresh, broad world-view is coming into being. This word-view I call “Reunion,” and it inspires my work. Reunion is hidden in every religion, spiritual tradition and cultural mythos and is articulated by John S. Dunne in the following way:

There are four cycles of story and song: first an original unity where all things were at one and we knew the ‘language of the birds’ and of other living beings, then the emergence and the separation of the race into peoples at war and at peace, and then the emergence and separation of the individual in loneliness, and finally, and still to come, a reunion with humanity and with all in all.
